Note then when installing the Ultrix Printserver Client Software you
are actually replacing the line printer daemon (/usr/lib/lpd) with
a new and improved version.
This new version requires a change in the printcap entries for *other*
printers, notably LAT printers need to have an explicit "os=:" specification
added or they don't work...
Perhaps this mean you can finally print to a "service" instead of a
"server"/"port" combination, but I haven't gotten around to trying that
yet.
Oh yeah, this is in the printserver software release notes, but if you've
ever tried to remember *which* of the 13 applicable release notes you saw
something in...
