xdr_pointer() not found

Would someone know if the function xdr_pointer() exists in the ultrix
libraries? All the other XDR functions seem to be the libc.a except
this one. And I need to use it. Could anyone tell if it is there,
atleast with a different name? I couldn't find anything in the man
pages about this.
