Try DILOG, they make several such interfaces for QBUS based systems
to SMD disks, emulate DEC MSCP disk protocol. Your local contact
would be in N. Va, number here says (703)742-8285. The hdqts number
in calif. is (714)937-5700, or (800)DILOG32. Prices aren't too bad,
expect to pay between $800 and $1800 for it (if I recall correctly).
