Motif 1.1 compatibility with Ultrix 4.0

We received a DecStation 5000 yesterday which came without media for
Ultrix 4.1 :-{ though we did get media for Motif 1.1.  Since we have
the license and media for 4.0 from another machine does anybody know
if the Ultrix 4.0/Motif 1.1 combination will work?
