Having a safe rm need not get in the way of a "production level programmer"--
just a few days ago, someone here writing a device driver accidentally typed
"rm mg.c" instead of "rm mg.o".  Recovering the old version from a backup tape
wasted an incredible amount of a brilliant programmer's time...
