the newline at the end of mail

	When you send mail a newline is added to your text. when
mail is forwarded via another machine another newline is added.
in these days of a 10 machine hops, you get a pile of newline at
the end. can a fix be put into people's /bin/mail to not add a
newline if there is one at the end.
