Relational Data Base for UNIX?

Does anyone know if there is a relational data base mangement system that
will run on UNIX and handle either one large data base of 100,000 100 byte
records or 50 seperate data bases of 2000 100 byte records?  Even if the
DBMS handles only a few data bases, please mail info.
