I'm in the process of interfacing a TI model 810 printer
to the LP print spooler. Unfortunately the 810 does
hardware handshaking via the Reverse Channel or Data
Terminal Ready leads instead of XON/XOFF to signal that
the input buffer is full. Therefore before I go through
the trouble of understanding the tty driver and how to intercept
the necessary control information.... Has anyone interfaced
a similar printer or device to the lp subsystem or the a
unix tty port. Any help is appreciated.
