Well, I have heard of Mike Bracca. Funny though I can't say I know
you or any of your friends at Berkley. (Where is 4.2 by the way.)

Yup, dirty pool. Actually, there are usually several ways to interpret
many english sentences. "... beyond needing anyone to bless UNIX
wizardry ..." [pardon any paraphrase] might be interpreted as a true
statement for someone who knew NOTHING about UNIX. It can be seen as
an a priori statement of maturity in general. In spite of my inability
to diagnose glitches on MAGTAPE drives interface cables with my tongue,
I might say I was " ... beyond needing ...". Perhaps "beyond help" too.

My 2 cents worth on the great issues of what the unix-wizards group should
be is that I rather like it the way it is -- however that is. Ya see,
I try to think of it as the great national coffee pot where hackers might
expect to rub elbows and discuss ... well lots of things. Including
device drivers, bugs in BSD4.1a, flames on raw/rare/etc modes, and junk
like this. A lot of valuable information gets disseminated at the coffee
pots of the world. Or coke machines ....
