All the silly people I know used PDP-10's and later UNIX*.
If using PDP-10's followed by UNIX makes people silly, then the entire
ARPA community should beware of silly behaviour when the huge ARPAnet
host switchover from Twenex to Berkeley VAX ``UNIX'' happens. :-)
[ 4.2BSD may not be UNIX, but it has the name, plus the backing of the
biggest war machine on the planet. Hey, if they *say* it's UNIX, and
point a nuke at me, I'll agree. :-< ]

* UNIX is a Trademark of Bell Laboratories
and quite likely would have been a trademark of the Department of War
if it hadn't been Bell's.
VAX and PDP are trademarks of DEC, but it's hardly worth mentioning,
since their lawyers aren't as hungry as Bell's.
