There is at least 1 site who can't get SI 9[84]00 controllers to do bad sectoring, (i.e. the formatting seems to work, but you never get the BSE bit on no matter what. Possibly this has been cured ...) Good luck (you'll need it) Dave Lukes (...!vax135!ukc!root44!pdl)
