secure list/security holes on the net

seems to me that a fast, simple procedure for reporting and
	fixing bugs is more important than keeping it incredibly secure.
	After all, if the bug isn't fixed, it's a matter of time before
	some "bad guy" finds the bug all by him/herself.
	
Again, this is true, but as a case in point, it recently came to my attention
that Unisoft does not get Unix Wizards (although they may have started
recently).  If half the systems DON'T get fixed, and half the sys-crackers
find a new hole, what do you think the result will be?
