Vendor support for 4.2 ?
The list is reasonably impressive. In no particular order:
DEC
SUN
Gould
Pyramid
There are probably more, but none come to mind right now.
In particular, Pyramid has a really spiffy box, ~1.5 x VAX 780,
for ~$100K, and Gould has a really FAST box, ~10 x VAX 780,
for ~$400K. We (U. S. Army BRL) are seriously considering
both of these vendors as being worthy alternatives to VAXen.
[Always trying to squeeze the most cycles out of your tax dollars!]
