Following is a little problem I have encountered recently which
I hope some of you can help solve:
VAX 11/780 running SYS 5 R II.
Original Problem:
I wanted to be able to boot unix from other than drive zero.
Solution:
Changed root, swap, and pipe in dfile to go to drive number 2 (020)
Copied /stand/conflp/defboo.cmd to rp2boo.cmd, changed drive numbers.
Did a config -t dfile
Did a make
Booted unix(new version) from drive 2
New Problem:
Everything came up OK.....except that there was no ps table and
I received an error message complaining about the inability to
open drive 0 on controller 0.
SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE!
Any help????
