Without the job control stuff, there would be no reason to use
the older UCB unix systems (well...).  Come ON!  Rather than geting
rid of job control, you should add it to YOUR system.  As for geting
a fancy terminal, what if you don't have $2^20?

Any way, I think that a better virtual terminal layer should be added,
along with an attach/detach system call so that jobs can be moved
between terminals.

If your still unconvinced about job control, use Multi fork Tops-20 (tm)
for about a week, you'll change your mind.
