Sendmail, the `m' flag, uucp, and rmail

The configuration distributed with sendmail on 4.2 doesn't have the
`m' flag specified for uucp type mail.
In other words, generate one uucp mail message per userid, even if
going to the same site.
rmail on 4.2 accepts nicely multiple userids.
On v7, and on SV, rmail is a link to mail, which is quite willing
to accept multiple userids.
So, can anybody see any reason why the `m' flag shouldn't be specified
in sendmail? (for mailling lists, this can mean a LOT less traffic,
especially if intermediate sites are also running sendmail with this
flag.
Is there anybody out there that knows an rmail this will break?
