Two of us were given the assignment of independent evaluation of a
4 processor ELXSI 6400 which was purchased by the NASA Dryden facility
where the Shuttle lands.  The manuals for the ELXSI EMBOS OS just came
in to my office last week.  It says UNIX-like, and has a number
UNIX-diffs: delete rather than rm, find rather than grep, and so on.
Asynchronous processes use a || rather than & in the command line interpreter.
The file system is UNIX-like in its hierarchy; the manuals look by UNIX
manuals.  Anybody with any experience on one out there?
