Looking for advice about Pyramids

We are considering getting a Pyramid.  I would like to hear from anybody
(especially people at universities) who have one.  I need answers to the
usual questions:  how fast are they, how many pascal compiles can you run at
once, how often do they break, etc.  Thanks.
