Need help with RSX

Properly speaking, this belongs in fa.info-vax, but since I am not on the
ARPA net and cannot seem to mail to ucbvax through allegra at the moment,
purhaps someone in UNIX-WIZARDS can help me.
I would very much appreciate some help with an RSX question. I am
writing an application program in Basic Plus 2, and need to trap Control-C
and other interrupts. I have found that
Y% = CTRLC
can be beaten by typing Control-C twice in rapid succession. I believe there
is a QIO to set this, but I do not understand how to use it. The user does
not have access to the command line, so SET TERM/NOCTRLC is not possible.
What I need to do is make the call which SET TERM/NOCTRLC invokes from
within my program. Could someone possibly help me out?

P.S. If I have misunderstood and this got mailed to a moderator, I would
appreciate it if you would be good enough to refer me to someone who can
answer the question or post this for me, as I have no access to the ARPAnet.
Thank You.
