Help with uux and pseudo ttys please

Need help with uux and pseudo ttys please...

1) I need to know what the various flags to uux do. I know this varies
   from version to version, but tell me what you know and I can sort it
   out from there. Also, how do you restart an interupted uux?

2) I would like to implement pseudo ttys on our sys5 box. Does anyone
   have the code for this? I'll take code for v7 or bsd and convert.
   A related need - someone said they had the code (public domain) for
   a device driver that implemented two way usage in the sense that you
   could hang a modem on a port and use it for incoming and outgoing
   transparently. The thing worked by having two device names. If you
   opened the outgoing one, the incoming one was disabled for the duration,
   unless it was already busy in which case the outgoing open would fail.
   I wrote to the author, never got a reply, and now misplaced his
   name/address.
