TU78 Tape Drive Problem.

	We have a TU78 (recently made it dual-port) and have
	had no problems (we do full dumps once a week, incs
	about every other day all @6250 from both our 780 and
	750.)
	We have had no peculiar behavior from the drive (4.2bsd.)
	We have had peculiar behavior from field circus like
	you mention (blame the software...hey, it's UNIX!)

	1. I think you have a hardware problem.
	2. If they claim they cannot service the
	machine because you run UNIX ask them why
	they signed the service contract and took
	your money? They get the hint.
