find -size, like any of find's numeric comparisons,
can in fact be done relatively:
find $dir -size +`ls -l $file | awk '{print int(($5+511)/512)}'` -print
will find files with block counts >= that of $file.
Unfortunately, some versions (e.g., SysV.0) of find are brain-damaged,
and count size in BUFSIZ instead of 512.
