Query: Who assigns Ethernet Type ID

Hi,
	Does anyone know what organization or governing body is handling
assignment of the Ethernet type ID.   We need assignment of registered 
Ethernet type IDs.  Names and addresses would be very useful.  You can 
respond directly to me and thanks in advance.
