XENIX/286 libraries

 I'm having a little problem with an AT running XENIX (IBM 1.0). The "c"
compiler (microsoft 3) and microsoft FORTRAN compiler appear to have 
incompatable libraries (or something); so I can compile "c" programs or
"fortran" programs but not both. This is incredibly annoying and if someone
has an answer or run into this problem I'd love to hear about it. The 
possibility of something stupid on my part will be gladly acknowledged.
