Which features of UNIX 4.2 BSD do you find convenient?
Which features of UNIX 4.2 BSD do you find necessary?
Examples are:
* SIGSTOP and csh job control.
* Socket interface to networks and local processes.
* Select() system call
* Wait3() system call ( non-blocked child status collection )
* Wait3() system call ( child resource utilization info )
* SIGTTIN, SIGTTOUT, SIGIO
* Fast file system
* Other?
Besides the lack of the above, is there anything you
cannot abide in the V.2.2 version of UNIX?
Thanks, Joe
