answers to AT&T 3b series questions!!!

I wanted to express a quick  THANK YOU  to all who responded to my
3b series questions!

I also wanted to post a summary for general interest.....

Overall, for various reasons (anyone wanting a copy of letters e-mail me),
the recomendation is not to mess with the marketed architecture of the machine!

as for a 60M tape backup, the responses were scattered, with no definite
source for such a device. (some letters indicated reasons why it wont work)

Well! there you have it!    and thanks again for everyones help!!
