Serial Port on Microvax II

Does anyone know if the serial port on the Microvax II
System Board supports dtr/dcd similarly to the standard
Vax multiplexor cards? 

If so does the Ultrix device driver handle the port properly,
so that it can be directly used with a modem or port selector?
