need help on VAX 11/750 to IBM mainframe RJE link

I need to install a 4.1BSD-on-a-VAX-11/750 to IBM-mainframe RJE link.
Advice on hardware or software (and some sympathy) would be gratefully
accepted.  If any are interested I will summarize the answers I get.
