We did a study before making our decision, and checked many references.
Most sites with Mt. Xinu seemed to be satisfied customers, while many sites
with Ultrix wished they had More/BSD.

Our experience with Mt. Xinu has been mostly good. Just prior to the
release of 4.3, support for 4.2 kind of slowed down, but was still there.

We had a major problem that was the result of a coding error in NFS
that was SUN's fault, and appears in just about every vendor's release
of NFS. This would result in corruption of data on the NFS client side.

Mt. Xinu shipped us a fix by uucp the same day they fixed it on their
own systems.

If we had been dealing with DEC we might have had to wait several
months before the fix had been properly packaged in the next update,
and had migrated its way to the shipping docks.

I'd say the choice is easy. Go with Mt. Xinu.
