Everyone writes (paraphrased):
why don't you use ... for ../.. and .... for ../../..

Come on guys!!  Don't all of you put your less reputable files into
... so it is more hidden?  Most people, when they are incountered with
.		..		...
will just ignore the ...  Of course anyone very knowledgeable about unix
(or someone who runs du) won't be fooled, but it helps a little...
