Draft 7 of IEEE 1003.2, ``Shell and Application Utility Interface'',
specifies System V-style behaviour only for the echo command.  A note in
the rationale (all rationale wil be omited from the final standard) points
out that the BSD version of echo does not conform to the proposed
definition.  No unresolved objections to the definition are listed.
