Vax 11/780 performance vs Sun 4/280 performance

I also tried forking 32 `for(;;) ;' loops on a 3/60 with 8-mb.
Each process got about 3 percent of the CPU and the reponse was
still quote good for interactive work.  This stuff about a `knee'
at 7 processes just isn't real...
