Cosmos CMS-16 Tape driver

	Is there a set of major/minor device numbers which will allow
reading to the end of a file on /dev/rmt1 and stopping? (no rewind).

	Also is there a set of header files to allow more control of the
drive than the simple open/close operations?

	Interested in exchange of data with others still nursing along
this machine. (I know of none on this coast).

	derrell at retrix.retrix.com:  I know that you have this machine,
but can't get my mailer to send anything to you with anything tried to
date.  I have received two mailings from you, but **CAN'T** mail to you!
If you could mail me a voice number, or a surface mail address, we could
exchange info.  I won't tie up the net with a full description of my
system to those who have no interest or information about it.  If you
have any knowledge of a way I can address something from milnet to you,
please let me know.  I have no direct usenet access, although the local
unix users' group is working on it. (Looking for a feed).
