The message you got means that you have a disk problem. It may be a bad
spot on the disk. If that is the case, you can use prep -a to get rid
of that bad block. (find out what you are getting rid of first, so you
can restore it later). If it is more than a bad block , you may need to re-
initialize the disk, and start over. In a worse case you may need to
replace the entire drive.
