BINARY FILE EDITOR ?

I read about some binary editors available besides emacs in previous
issues of this digest. May I know how I can get them?

I would also like to find out if a Unix version of the PC-based Norton
Utilities exists; it could also serve the purpose of the binary editors
and provide some remedies to common mistakes of deleting the wrong file.
