SI9500 as a DEC RM02

I just picked up free :-) a SI9500 controller & CDC 9762 drive (DEC RM02)

The 4.3 unibus device driver 'up' is set up for a CDC 9762 on a
Emulex SC21 (DEC RM02).  Would the 'up' driver also work for the SI9500?
