Does anyone have anyopinions on how to deal with too many tty entries in /dev?
Sifting through thousands of entries is rather painfull and slow. Following
the SysV style of things (please no quips here ;^) making a tty directory makes
sense. Has anyone done this? If so on what systems how has it worked out?
How were backward compatability issues worked out?
