"iinit" panic on tahoe GENERIC

I'm now getting a panic in "init_main.c" ... apparently the attempt to
mount the "rootdev" is failing.  I added some code, and found that
rootdev is 0x0901 and swaponroot is 1.

Note that I'm still just trying to get through the initial dialogue with
the new (GENERIC) kernel, and I've responded to "root device?" with
"ra0*".


Any ideas on how to track this down are appreciated!
