Diagnostics for PC running unix?

Can anyone recommend diagnostic software for PC based unix systems?  I very
tired of doing without - especially since there are a host of them for the
dos side.  Thanx in advance.

BTW, public domain as well as commercial suggestions are all welcome.  Thanx
again.
