I get the following problem when trying to load emacs ver 18.55.1:

   sh: /usr/local/bin/emacs: too big

I have a basic USG type system. To be exact:

Convergent Tech S/640 Mighty II 68020 25mhz CTIX (UNIX) 5.25.1

The ls -l of emacs is:

   -rwxr-xr-t 1 bin bin 610304 Sep 13 17:36 /usr/local/bin/emacs

THe size of emacs is:

	483160 + 126976 + 0 = 610136

My maxumem is set at 756 x 4096 = 3096576 bytes
My maxpmem is auto with 1/4 of swap + 1meg
Physical memory at 8 megs, 5.5 useable for processes.
My swap space is 200 x 4096 = 8192000 bytes (Swap space is hardley ever used)

What seems to be the problem? CT S/640 documentation says I should be
able to load in a 20+ meg process if I set maxumem correctly.
