terminal emulator

Hello people, 

I am searching for terminal emulation software that will allow me to 
accomplish the following:

I want to dial into a VAX and read and manipulate files, and have whatever
comes across my screen be written to a file for later retrieval or printing
from myfrom my 386 running SCO.
