Seagate ST2383A jumpers??

The jumper settings on this drive, which I am using as a slave (root disk
is a 130 meg) allow it to be set as:
Physical mode (1)
Translate (Logical mode, sparing scheme is one sector per track) (2)
Translate (Logical) mode. No sparing space allocated.
Any suggestions of which of these should be selected for Xenix? Our first
guess is Physical mode.
