Termcap for Wyse-50 help needed

I am trying to get Informix working on a Wyse-50 terminal.  What a bummer!
Informix gives no way to use multiple-character line-drawing commands,
and so I am wondering if there is any way to draw lines on a Wyse-50
using protected graphics characters.  Any info would be appreciated.
