smail2.5 on SCO Xenix 2.3.2

Making smail 2.5 on SCO Xenix 2.3.2 complains of unresolved externals
on 'nptx' with references to 'misc.o'.  Does anyone know the solution/
have patches that'll take care of this?  Thanks.
