I've recently acquired a Multitech modem which supports MNP level 5 (error
correction/data compression). It works very well, but I'm having a bit of
trouble getting the software going under Xenix.
One of the nicest features of the modem is its ability to automatically
adjust to the baud rate of the system dialing in/being dialed into while
maintaining a preset speed to the computer.
This all works fairly well, but some other details, like dialing, haven't
been attacked as yet. Is anyone else using this combination who can help
me avoid re-inventing the wheel?
If anyone is curious about the features of this beast, drop me a line (email)
and I'll be happy to fill you in. No, I don't sell them.
Thanks.
