GNU Emacs and Xenix 386 v2.2.3

I hope I didn't miss something bug could someone tell me the
necessary wizardry to make GNU Emacs of what ever version run under Xenix 386
V2.2.3?  I've read many articles that imply that it is easy but I must be missing something
necessary to make it so.
