thanks for all your help with this stuff, folks.  i don't know
how i'm going to proceed -- the fact that the C compiler isn't
included with the basic xenix release makes the cost out of my
league for the moment.  my basic goal is simply to set up a usenet node.

this question didn't make much sense -- i'm trying to ask about
'page size' used for swapping pages...  it isn't such an important
question anyway -- never mind!
