Postscript on SCO 2.3.2 Xenix

I have a QMS PS810 laser printer (the PS means Postscript) and it prints
OK under Xenix WP 4.2 but I can't get the damn thing to print using 'lp'
I have lpinit'ed until I am frustrated. Can any one help out with some
direction on what to use for an interface program? the supplied 
interface programs are of no help. I really haven't tried all of them
like the ones that indicate IBM Proprinter.

I like the output that WP provides, but there must be a way to speak
to this damn printer.
