In the Dec 11, 1989 issue of PC Week there is an article about SCO's new
multiprocessor version of UNIX called MPX. (It actually sounds like an
addon to SCO UNIX).
It mentions that it will work on the following systems:
Zenith Z1000
Compaq SystemPro
Apricot MC-486
American Mitac Corp. Series 1000
Now the question:
Can anyone tell or point me to a reference on what SCO MPX requires in
the way of hardware support (cache conherency, memory locks, or
whatever). Or a reference on the hardware architecture of the
aforementioned systems. If possible please include with your reference
any ordering information.
