Help! Ethernet Board Selection

After doing a bit of research, I see that my question was phrased
unclearly.  What I want to know is, which board to choose, and what
set of programs works best for people.  For example, an Excelan board with
Xenix-Net for the Xenix network software, and IBM PC Network for the Dos
network software.  Sorry about the confusion.
